""In late fall, I was near the west end of Denali National Park when dawn spilled across the eastern flanks of Mt. McKinley. The air breathlessly still, I prepared to photograph the warm rays of light as they bathed the mountain's jagged features. Almost on cue, a bull moose stepped gingerly into the lake to feed, adding his silhouette to this graphically strong portrait of North America's tallest peak."
